Uttarey is a picturesque town located around 30 km from the popular tourist destination of Pelling. This serene place has earned its popularity among travellers due to its peaceful ambiance and numerous attractions. From the higher ridges of Uttarey, one can behold the magnificent peak of Kanchenjunga.
Situated in the western region of Sikkim, Uttarey can be reached from Pelling or Dentum. Along the way, you'll pass by the Singshore Bridge, the second-highest bridge in Asia. The altitude of Uttarey is around 6600ft.

TENZING HILLARY MEMORIAL PARK
Established in 2015, the memorial park adds to the allure of Uttarey. The road to the park might need improvement, but the mesmerizing views of the area make the visit worthwhile. On a clear morning, you can enjoy spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga range from here. The park also features statues of the legendary climbers Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary.
THE TITANIC PARK
A unique building shaped like the famous Titanic ship is constructed near the main market of Uttarey. Although the building itself is closed, it provides a wonderful backdrop for taking photographs and adds an interesting touch to the town's charm.
TROUT FARM
The trout farm is located about 2 km from Uttarey town. Several large ponds host thousands of trout fish, creating a fascinating sight. The peaceful and serene surroundings make it an ideal spot to spend some time by the nearby river, basking in the tranquillity of nature.
