Gangtok to Chungthang Route:
- All tourist vehicles should cross the Shankalang Bridge by 1:00 pm.
- After this time no vehicle will be allowed to go towards Chungthang.
Gangtok To Lachung Marg (via Chungthang):
- Vehicles should cross the Tong check post (TCP) by 2:00 pm.
- after the cut-off, authorities stop all movement beyond this point to ensure everyone’s safety.
This means that you need to start your journey on time, or you can miss your entry.
