Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to Gangtok – Pick-up
  • The moment your flight lands at Bagdogra or your train pulls into NJP, a driver from our team will be there to greet you and ease you into the vehicle for the climb to Gangtok.
  • Check-in at the hotel marks the end of the drive, after which the day stretches ahead freely for you to relax and acclimatize.
  • With breakfast taken care of, the entire day is given to an excursion towards Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, lying 35 km off and set at a lofty 12,400 ft.
  • A visit to the cherished New Baba Mandir close by completes the day’s journey.

 

Note: 

Nathula Pass is shut on Mondays and carries an additional ₹5,000–5,500 per vehicle. The government no longer allows shared entry, so the trip can only be made in a private SUV (Innova, Xylo, Sumo, Bolero, or Max).

  • A morning meal first, then a gentle day spent uncovering the best of Gangtok.
  • Early stops bring you to Tashi View Point, the twin hilltop temples of Hanuman Tok and Ganesh Tok, and the historic Enchey Monastery.
  • The trail then leads through the Flower Exhibition Centre, the Do Drul Chorten, and the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.
  • The day closes with a look around the Cottage Industry, an airborne Ropeway ride, and the rushing Bakthang Falls

With the morning meal behind you, the scenic road to Darjeeling beckons.

  • In the pre-dawn dark, you’ll make your way to Tiger Hill, where sunrise floods Kanchenjunga, Everest, and the neighboring peaks with light.
  • The horizon changes color by degrees until the whole range glows gold, a sight that stays etched in memory.
  • Coming back down, you’ll pause at Ghoom Monastery, the area’s oldest, built in 1875 and housing a 15-ft Maitreya Buddha, with the Kanchenjunga View Point right alongside.
  • One final morning halt at the famed Batasia Loop comes before breakfast at the hotel.
  • With your energy back, the city tour starts at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed Thursdays), established by Tenzing Norgay after summiting Everest, beside the Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed Thursdays).
  • The route carries on through the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed Sundays), Tenzing and Gombu Rocks, a tea estate viewed from outside, and the serene Japanese Peace Pagoda.

 

Note: Tiger Hill passes are free but capped at a maximum of 600 cabs each day, issued only 24 hours ahead by the Sadar traffic office, and subject to availability.

    • The day’s journey runs about 50 km out to Mirik, a town built around the man-made Sumendu Lake and complemented by the Simana Viewpoint, aromatic cardamom plantations, and undulating tea estates.
    • Encircling the water is a 3.5-km promenade, while the elegant 80-ft arched bridge across it gives a wonderful spot to admire the lake.
    • The 3–4 hour drive proves a delight on its own, passing first through cool pine woods and then through expansive tea garden scenery.
    • Before the return leg, spend a little time shopping at Pashupati Market, perched on the Indo-Nepal border.

      • After a last breakfast at the hotel, the road drops back down to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, timed to fit comfortably with your onward flight or train.

Payment Policy

  • Bookings Made 60 to 30 Days Prior to Tour Date
    An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. The balance amount must be paid as per the company payment schedule communicated at the time of confirmation.
  • Bookings Made 20 Days Prior to Tour Date
    An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. Upon issuance of the hotel confirmation voucher (within 3 business days), an additional 20% of the total tour cost + 5% GST must be paid. The remaining balance amount must be settled on the day of arrival.

Cancellation has to be sent to us by Mail/Fax.

  • 30 Days from The Date of Booking: Only Communication Charges Rs.2000 Per Person.
  • 21-30 Days Prior To Departure : 25% Of Tour Cost
  • 11-20 Days Prior To Departure : 50% Of Tour Cost
