Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station to Gangtok – Pick-up
  • Touch down at Bagdogra Airport or pull in at NJP Railway Station, and you’ll find our driver ready to welcome you and guide you to your waiting vehicle for the ride up to Gangtok.
  • A hotel check-in awaits at the end of the road, leaving the remainder of the day entirely free for unwinding.
  • Stately government buildings, each dressed in traditional Buddhist symbolism, define its downtown, while the city quietly readies travelers for the road into North Sikkim.
  • With monasteries and orchids at every turn, it is a place that wins over visitors with ease.
  • Breakfast done, the day opens into a full excursion towards Tsomgo (Changu) Lake, 35 km out from Gangtok and resting at a dizzying 12,400 ft.
  • A visit to the much-venerated New Baba Mandir rounds out the trip.

  • Long before sunrise, you’ll set off for Tiger Hill, where the first light ignites Kanchenjunga, Everest, and the peaks between them.
  • The horizon turns over one shade after another until the whole range catches fire in gold, a spectacle that lingers long in memory.
  • Heading back, you’ll call at Ghoom Monastery, the area’s oldest, raised in 1875 and guarding a 15-ft Maitreya Buddha, with the Kanchenjunga Viewpoint only steps away.
  • The much-photographed Batasia Loop is the final morning stop before breakfast at the hotel.
  • Energy restored, the town tour begins at the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed Thursdays), set up by Tenzing Norgay after his conquest of Everest, and the neighboring Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park (closed Thursdays).
  • From there, the route threads through the Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed Sundays), Tenzing and Gombu Rocks, a tea estate seen from the roadside, and the peaceful Japanese Peace Pagoda.

 

Important Note: Tiger Hill passes come free but are rationed, capped at 600 cabs a day, released only 24 hours ahead by the Sadar traffic office, and never guaranteed.

  • One last hotel breakfast, and the road winds down to Bagdogra Airport or NJP Railway Station, scheduled to dovetail with your onward flight or train.

Payment Policy

  • Bookings Made 60 to 30 Days Prior to Tour Date
    An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. The balance amount must be paid as per the company payment schedule communicated at the time of confirmation.
  • Bookings Made 20 Days Prior to Tour Date
    An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. Upon issuance of the hotel confirmation voucher (within 3 business days), an additional 20% of the total tour cost + 5% GST must be paid. The remaining balance amount must be settled on the day of arrival.

Cancellation has to be sent to us by Mail/Fax.

  • 30 Days from The Date of Booking: Only Communication Charges Rs.2000 Per Person.
  • 21-30 Days Prior To Departure : 25% Of Tour Cost
  • 11-20 Days Prior To Departure : 50% Of Tour Cost
  • 10 Days Prior To Departure : Full Cancellation
