Day 1
Guwahati Airport/Railway Station to Kaziranga - Pick up & Transfer
  • On arrival at Guwahati, you will be met and assisted by our driver at the airport or railway station.
  • From here, you will set off towards Kaziranga National Park, the renowned land of the one-horned rhinoceros.
  • Upon reaching Kaziranga, check into your hotel and relax after the journey.
  • Later, visit the Orchid Garden, followed by an evening performance of the traditional Bihu dance.
  • Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
  • Begin your day early with an elephant safari in one of the zones of Kaziranga National Park.
  • Look out for the majestic one-horned rhinoceros, along with other wildlife such as hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, and elephants, and, if luck is on your side, even a tiger.
  • Thanks to its many water bodies, the park is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters.
  • Return to your resort for breakfast.
  • In the afternoon, set out on a jeep safari to venture deeper into the park’s rich flora and fauna.
  • After the safari, continue towards Shillong, travelling through scenic hills and lush green valleys.
  • On arrival, check into your hotel and rest
  • After breakfast, drive to Dawki to explore the crystal-clear Umngot River, famous for its boating (at your own expense).
  • Visit Jaflong Zero Point at the India–Bangladesh border and take in the scenic beauty of the Dawki River.
  • Continue to Mawlynnong, where you can walk across the famous Living Root Bridge and wander through the charming lanes of the Cleanest Village in Asia.
  • After the excursion, return to your hotel for an overnight stay
  • Have your breakfast and set off on a trek to the Living Root Bridge, which usually takes around 5–6 hours.
  • Along the way, the trail winds through charming villages, giving you a chance to unwind and experience the local rural lifestyle.
  • Marvel at the Double-Decker Living Root Bridge, a UNESCO Heritage site, whose two tiers measure 59 ft and 83 ft as they gracefully span the gorge above a jade-green pool.
  • Please note: guide charges are extra and payable directly by you. (The trek remains closed on Sundays.)
  • After having your breakfast, you will set off to visit Mawsmai Cave and take in the scenic views at Mawkdok Valley.
  • Explore the fascinating Arwah Cave, then admire the majestic Nohkalikai Falls and the Seven Sisters Falls.
  • After sightseeing, transfer to Shillong for your overnight stay.
  • After breakfast, check out from your hotel and enjoy a tour of Shillong, covering Ward’s Lake, the Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, and the Catholic Church, a blend of nature, culture, and heritage.
  • Afterwards, proceed towards Guwahati, soaking in the scenic views along the way.
  • Set out early at around 6:00 a.m. to visit the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered Shakti Peethas in India.
  • After seeking blessings, return to your hotel for breakfast.
  • Post breakfast, continue with city sightseeing, beginning with the Umananda Temple, set on the world’s smallest river island, followed by visits to the Balaji Temple and Basistha Temple (subject to time availability).
  • Finally, you will be transferred to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey, concluding your tour with spiritual fulfillment and cherished memories.

  • Bookings Made 60 to 30 Days Prior to Tour Date
    An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. The balance amount must be paid as per the company payment schedule communicated at the time of confirmation.
  • Bookings Made 20 Days Prior to Tour Date
    An advance payment of 30% of the total tour cost + 5% GST is required at the time of booking. Upon issuance of the hotel confirmation voucher (within 3 business days), an additional 20% of the total tour cost + 5% GST must be paid. The remaining balance amount must be settled on the day of arrival.

Cancellation has to be sent to us by Mail/Fax.

What destinations are covered in this 6N/7D Northeast tour package?
The package covers Kaziranga National Park, Shillong, Umiam Lake, Dawki, Mawlynnong, Cherrapunjee, Nongriat and Guwahati. It combines wildlife safaris, waterfalls, caves, villages, trekking and spiritual sightseeing.
The package includes six nights of accommodation: one night in Kaziranga, two nights in Shillong, two nights in Cherrapunjee and one night in Guwahati. Hotel categories can be selected according to budget and availability.
Safari costs depend on the selected package and should be confirmed in the final quotation. Safari operations are subject to park schedules, weather, forest permissions and zone availability. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed.
The Nongriat trek is moderately difficult to strenuous and involves approximately 3,000–3,500 steps each way. It requires good physical fitness and may not be suitable for travellers with knee, heart or mobility concerns
No, guide charges are payable separately unless included in the final quotation. Hiring a local guide is recommended for safety, navigation and a better understanding of the area. Meghalaya’s Living Root Bridges are on UNESCO’s Tentative List, but they are not currently designated World Heritage Sites. UNESCO
The ideal period is generally November to April, when Kaziranga safaris usually operate and Meghalaya offers comfortable conditions for sightseeing and trekking. Safari schedules and park access should always be confirmed before booking.
