2. Tashi View Point

Tashi view point located on a scenic ridge 8km north of Gangtok . Built by the late king of Sikkim , Tashi Namgyal, this situated 6000 feet . The primary reasons tourists visit is the early morning sunrise . Best time to visit is 5am to 6am for the sunrise.  

3. Rumtek Monastery   

Rumtek monastery is known as the Dharma  Chakra Centre . Located in high altitude of 5000 feet and 24km southwest of the capital city , Gangtok. Its built on 18 th century under the direction of the 12 th chogyal of sikkim.  Its open daily from 6am to 6 pm . 

4. Tsomgo Lake and Nathula Pass   

Tsomgo lake and Nathula pass are two of East Sikkim’s most magnifying places to visit.  The places located at historic silk route that guarded by Indo – China border. Both sites sit northeast of Gangtok .Mandatory PAP for all visitors. Nathula Pass is  strictly restricted to indian nationals.

5. Pelling Skywalk

Pelling Skywalk is India’s first glass bottomed walkway , located at 7200 feet above sea level in west sikkim. It is built inside the Chenrezig Statue complex . It open daily from 8 am to 4.30 pm . it is usually closed during peak monsoon season due to heavy rain . It has two floor Ground floor  (Dukhang ) and The top floor (zangdokpalri) .

6. Pemayangtse Monastery

Pemayngtse Monastery is one of the oldest , prestigious  premier buddhist  monastery in Sikkim. That Situated at 6840 feet in the Gylashing district . Pemayngtse means  the perfect sublime lotus.

  1. Khecheopalri Lake

Khechopalri lake known as Kha – chot – palri,  located at Gyalshing district West sikkim. It covered by forests and its considered sacred destination. On World Wetlands day the khechopalri lake wetland also designated as a ramsar site .

8. Lachen

 Lachen is a picture perfect mountain village located at 9000 feet in the Mangan district of North Sikkim . After the long 4 months cut off due to severe road washouts and destruction of the suspension bridge over Taram chu , Lachen and the route to Gurudongmar lake have officially reopened to tourists as of 11th September,  2026.

9. Gurudongmar Lake

Gurudongmar lake is one of the highest lake in the world that situated at an altitude of 17800 feet in North Sikkim . A small portion of this lake never freezes even in peak winter . Local says that the attributes to Guru padmasambhava blessing it to provide drinking water for locals . No overnight stays are allowed at that lake. 10. Lachung

Lachung is a mountain village nestled in high latitude of 8600 feet in North Sikkim . It is the beautiful land full of apple orchards, cascading waterfalls and traditional wooden homes. It is a getway of Yumthang valley and Zero point.

11. Yumthang Valley

Yumthang valley situated at  11800 feet in Mangan district in North sikkim . For the diversity of flowers the valley is known for valley for flowers .

13. Nathang Valley
